wellllll…… it’s a little more complicated than that. my husband and i go through animals like it is going out of style. he is IN LOVE WITH ALL OF THEM. if he finds a stray, he has to have it. lost dog, needs it.
so, we originally had a poodle when we lived with his folks. they fell in love, we let them have her.
we got two kittens. they were not compatible with the townhouse we had to move to. his parents wanted them.
we adopted a rotteweiler. she is growing soooo fast.
our neighbors had a mini beagle/jack mix they wanted to sell and we tried and he ruined all our carpets in a matter of days and was ripping my rotte’s face off. had to give back to the family.
he found a stray. i fell in love. saw a lost dog sign and returned him to family.
his fellow Marine and his wife are giving away pit/german shep/chow puppies. he wants one.
today, another Marine was giving away a lab/aussie mix puppy. we adopted it.
I LITERALLY FEEL LIKE I LIVE IN A ZOO.

also, i use “we” lightly. truly, this was all him. not me.
except, the rotteweiler. she is my baby.
